These terms govern your use of Beadwell, a children's math practice app provided by Carunel LLC. By installing or using Beadwell, you agree to these terms.
In these terms, "Carunel Studio," "we," "our," and "us" refer to Carunel LLC.
Carunel Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Beadwell on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial, educational use.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the app or its content, except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved by Carunel Studio.
Beadwell is designed as a math practice tool for children approximately ages 5 to 9. It is intended for home use under parent or guardian supervision. It is not a substitute for classroom instruction, professional tutoring, or clinical assessment.
Beadwell is intended to be set up and configured by a parent or guardian. Parents are responsible for:
Parents may add optional content to the app, including display names, written messages, encouragement text, reward labels, and photos or videos from the device gallery. This content is stored only on the local device and is not transmitted to Carunel Studio.
You are responsible for the content you add. Do not add content that you do not have the right to use.
Beadwell is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Carunel Studio disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular educational outcome.
We do not guarantee that using Beadwell will produce specific learning results. The app provides structured practice, not assessment or diagnosis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Carunel Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use Beadwell. Carunel Studio's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app and any in-app purchases in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Because all data is stored locally on your device, Carunel Studio is not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, operating system changes, app uninstallation, or device resets. We recommend using the export feature in Settings if you wish to preserve practice data.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law.
All app data is stored on your device. Beadwell is designed to operate without transmitting data to external servers. For details on what data is stored and how to manage it, see our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may notify you through the app or its store listing. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
You may stop using Beadwell at any time by uninstalling the app. Carunel Studio may discontinue the app or revoke access at any time, though we have no current plans to do so.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Beadwell shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country, state, or region of residence. If you are a consumer in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose laws grant you non-waivable protections, those protections continue to apply to you regardless of the choice of law above.
