QuizWell Privacy Policy

QuizWell is a children's math quiz app published by Carunel LLC. This privacy policy explains what data the app handles and how.

In this policy, "Carunel," "we," "our," and "us" refer to Carunel LLC.

The short version

QuizWell is designed to work offline. The app stores quiz data and settings locally on your device. We do not operate servers that receive or store your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.

What data the app stores on your device

QuizWell stores the following data locally on the device where the app is installed. None of this data is sent to Carunel or any third party.

Quiz data

• Quiz session history (topic, date, score, individual question results)
• Topic-level accuracy and progress over time
• Parent-created quiz configurations (topic, difficulty, question count)
• Personal messages written by parents for their child

Settings and preferences

• Grade level and topic preferences
• Audio and display preferences
• Parent gate settings

Child profile information

• An optional display name or nickname chosen by the parent (not required)
• Grade level

All of this data is stored only on the device. It is not transmitted to Carunel or any third party.

What we do not do

QuizWell is designed to operate without transmitting, collecting, or processing data on external servers. Specifically:

• We do not require or support user accounts
• We do not transmit personal information to our servers or any third party
• We do not use analytics or crash reporting services
• We do not display advertising or use advertising SDKs
• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies
• In normal use, the app does not send data to Carunel servers or third parties
• We do not share data with third parties

These statements describe your family's and your child's data. Separately, QuizWell's one-time unlock purchase is processed through the device's platform app-store services — see "Data that may leave your device" below.

Data that may leave your device

Data leaves the device in the following situations:

• Data export: Parents can export quiz history as a file using the device's built-in share functionality. The parent chooses where to send the file. QuizWell does not control or monitor what happens after the file leaves the app.
• In-app purchases: QuizWell uses the device's platform app-store services (Apple, Google, or Amazon) solely to process and restore its one-time unlock purchase. The platform store may process transaction identifiers and purchase status under its own privacy policy. Carunel does not receive payment-card information, does not transmit child or quiz data, and does not store purchase information on Carunel servers.

QuizWell does not transmit child or quiz data; network access is used only for app-store purchase and restore services.

How to delete data

Parents can manage all app data from within Settings:

• Reset Progress: Removes quiz history and results. Keeps child profiles and parent settings.
• Reset Everything: Removes all app data and returns the app to its initial state.
• Uninstalling the app: Removes all app data from the device.

Children's privacy

QuizWell is designed for use by children ages 5 to 10, with parent involvement in setup and configuration.

The app is designed to operate without transmitting data to external servers, does not require accounts, and does not ask children for personal information. Children interact with quizzes only — all setup and configuration is done by parents.

Because QuizWell does not collect, use, or disclose personal information from any user, it is designed to operate consistently with the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and similar children's privacy regulations in other regions.

Third-party services

QuizWell does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, social media, or cloud services. In normal use, QuizWell does not send app data to Carunel servers or third parties, other than the app-store purchase and restore processing described in "Data that may leave your device" above.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the app or its store listing.
